Lisa Evans-Clark was born Lisa Rogers Vickery in 1969. She was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, graduating from Myers Park High School in 1987. She went to school at the South Eastern school of Cosmetology.
Lisa began her career as a stylist at Exclusively You in 1988. She continued to follow her passion for making people look their best and moved on to OMO Salon in 1993. From 1994 to 1997, Lisa educated other stylists for Kenra Hair Products.
Her passion for her work led her to become an entrepreneur and she opened her own salon, VicEvans, in 1994. She spent eleven years working on great clients.
Lisa, a black belt in karate, also opened the Black Belt Alpha Karate school in 1996 and it continued until 2001. In November 2004 Lisa stepped away from the working world to have her first beautiful baby girl, Kendal. After Kendal was born, Lisa worked part-time at OMO salon and closed the doors to VicEvans salon.
In 2007, Lisa married Tony and became Lisa Evans-Clark. In December of 2008, Lisa and Tony added to their family, having their son, Ty.
Now, with Limelight Salon across from South Park Mall, Lisa’s vision of a high-end, client-focused salon is realized and she cannot wait to spend the rest of her career making the clients she adores look the best that they can. Lisa says, “The best part of my job is that every day, my clients can walk through the doors of Limelight and set aside the stress of their lives and spend some time laughing and talking with me while I make them look amazing. Watching the transition of their hair is so much fun because with today’s tools, we can make short hair longer with hair extensions, long hair shorter with the right cut, take blondes to brunettes or add tons of volume. The sky is the limit in my chair!”
